Jadery is a young Mexican-American girl growing up in an immigrant household filled with love, tradition, and the warmth of a culture she carries everywhere. Her parents work hard and love deeply — and their strength runs through her like a current.
Her challenge is the gap between her two worlds. At home she is whole. Outside, she is still finding her words — in English, in identity, in how to make both parts of who she is feel welcome at the same time.
